"Baby Touch" will be used in clinical studies of infant cognition in the Department of Psychology at the UBC. This helps researchers learn more about how young children understand the world by letting infants use an iPad to make choices based on situations they are given. Dr. Kellogg S. Booth, Professor of Computer Science Department at the UBC is the project supervisor. Currently, the work is in progress as we are constantly refining the prototype to reach its full potential.


  • An OSX version of the app is implemented to run on a MAC to work as the server that controls and logs all the information.
  • An iOS version to run on the iPAD is implemented to work as a controller. iPAD acts a client that relays information sent from the MAC.
